When i was 15 i moved to claremont, a small town, in new England, for one year, my sophomore, year, with a new family, new school, and new language.

Took our time this morning and had a great breakfast as usual, Rick served up a treat. 2 cheeses and apples with fig chutney. Breakfast time and was blown away by breakfast. Firstly, organic hand made yoghurt with a pumpkin purée in the centre with pecans and a bit of granola but the best part was the little drops of cider reduction, a bit like vino cotto, but apples. Woke up and had breakfast. There was only one other couple so sat next and chatted,and chatted and it was nice. Ordered ham, bacon omelette but it was too much and the bacon was overcooked. But we had a good breakfast chatting anyway from a couple from near Manchester, NH. It was a gift from their friends for their anniversary. ... off by a train. The train wasn’t even passing really. It was going back and forth, picking up cargo. So that was a pain. But we ended up getting all of the bridges, so that was a pleasant deviation.
On the way back we stopped at Poultney for pizza and at one of our favorite roadside stands for some more Vermont treats. As if we hadn’t already invoked Diabetes enough.
