      There are various homes and communities on the island that offer beachfront, bay front, or lagoon front condos and what we loved was that all the homes are different. No cookie cutter development here. From anywhere on the island, you are never more than a short walk to the beach or the intra-coastal waterway.

      If you are looking for night life and crowed beaches, this is not the place.

      ... Maho Bay Beach which was lovely. Water very warm. This beach is situated right next to the International Airport and the planes all come in over the beach to land. One was a jumbo jet and this was amazing to see it coming in to land over the beach so near and so low.after this experience we we took a taxi back to the ship for lunch.
