... entire day, not much actually happened. Here are 2 things that are of note.

Is there smoke in the air? While we are driving in Idaho, Paul's dad is reminiscing of when he was fighting fires in this area. While we were driving this morning there was smoke in the air from nearby wildfires! We didn't see any fire, but we did see and smell the smoke for ...

... mud pots are everywhere in this lower area of the park. We arrive just as Old Faithful finishes her show... 10 minutes earlier than predicted, it'll be another hour and a half before the next eruption. Old Faithful decides to go off ...

I nervously checked the field ...

... through the center of town. Then we saw a beautiful view of The Tetons which is French for The Three Breasts. The Tetons have three sharp peaks which were first viewed by the French from the west. The scenery in this area was spectacular especially the Snake River with the mountain views. We never got to the canyon that Evil Kenevil jumped over on his motorcycle.
Later in the day, we saw Idaho Falls which was pretty but not worth the ...

Yellowstone National Park today! It was a 2 hour drive from Idaho Falls to Yellowstone, but it passed by quickly via Beyonce's sweet musical lyrics. We saw Old Faithful, Yellowstone's most famous geyser, and we were just in time to see it ...
