... never know.

My new friend Connie told me something beautiful. She said that of all the symbols of Canada, the Inukshuk was the one that made her most proud. She pointed out building an Inukshuk was a pure, selfless act. The only point of this symbol is to help someone else. Someone that you may never even know you helped. Someone who you want nothing from.

It was a mini blizzard so at times we only had a few meters visibility so we were driving as slow as 30kms at times, so it took an hour and a half extra and when we did finally arrive at Angela's after 10.30pm the driveway was covered in snow so deep we couldn't even drive up it. Ange had to get out and snow blow it so we could pull into the garage. We unloaded the car and put things away so we didn't have to worry the next day. Ahh bed ...

... that (not to mention the young girl in front who insisted on reclining her seat, why do those things recline anyway?!). When we arrived in Vancouver we had about 2 hours to get to our next flight, then we saw customs. A long line with only 2 windows open for returning Canadian citizens (you could have gone through the faster automated line but not with a new Chinese baby to declare). We waited nervously thinking about our flight we didn't want ...
