... there, we did the Garden Maze. It's a maze of high bushes with flowers and some pretty flowers through it. You go in and find 4 mailboxes with stamps that reveal a 'secret' at the end. We found all 4 mailboxes, in order, and made our way out in probably 1/2 hour or so. It was fun!

... finally getting started hiking at around 12:30, we met a new thru-hiker - his trail name is Uncle Buck. He is a really cool dude, and funny as heck.
