... birds nesting on the roof tops in HK occasionally swooping down to grab some tasty morsel. Unusual diversions included spotting the weirdest food in the supermarket - winner goes to Edamame bean ice-cream which looked deliciously green with green lumps in it & frozen Durian lollipops. Ever keen to expand our Cantonese knowledge we spotted a very useful phrase in the apartment lobby. "Please do not spit" ...just looking for the word "ever" ...

... these skyscrapers is that most of them have small shops and restaurants on the bottom one or two floors, some even like little indoor mini malls. Several of these little shops are bakeries. ... get what pay for to terrible. I was warned and apprehensive.

Yep reception was interesting. Lady wasnt there and security didnt speak english. But i knew right off that this 16 floor building was residential working class and some offices. People from all walks of life went up and down the lifts. Embassy was one of several guest houses. But no backpackers. Just hongkongese.

The lady as expected spoke no english ...

... Apparently Beckham is not so big in the airport. Starbucks number 3 :) Scammer tries to charge us 45quid to the hotel in a taxi so we bundle onto the tube for £2.70 each and take in some crazy Chinese cartoonism on the tv. Apparently taxi should cost 8 or 9 quid max. We're all very pleased with ourselves Tube at rushhour is ******* mental We then spent 24 quid in data charges to navigate from the tube station, and it was a 15 min walk....that ...
