After we had explored enough, we made the journey back down the steps and headed to the monastery where lunch was being served. I’ve never had lunch in a Buddhist monastery before. This too was a little on the touristy side but simple, and delicious. The servers were friendly and we had more than enough food for the 3 of us.

... seat and can be seen by everyone walking by. The middle one has slightly less room but offers more security for your things as you have to climb the ladder to it. The top bunk is a nightmare with only about two feet of space above you! And I was on the top for our first ride :-( To add to this disaster, there was a baby in our compartment who cried for most of the night. Finally, I resorted to putting in my earphones and listening to music so that I could get some ...

... through the orphanage where we saw the rooms where the babies are kept. There were probably 20 plus cribs in each room. I offered to bring 2 or 3 more home with us. Our guide assured me that most of them had paperwork in process to be adopted. I pray that they do and will be in their forever families soon! We walked downstairs to head to the apartment where Mia lived with her foster family. As we got to the bottom ...
