Vicksburg, Arizona, United States jblankissuper... We were blessed to get to the laundry and find 5 washers free. We got our laundry done at the same time, which was nice. Then off to Joyce's Crafts. She had most any craft you would want but we were interested in the monk cloth and patterns and card embroidery. That didn't stop us from looking at everything though. We returned home to have lunch and then take off to Palm Canyon south of Quartzsite. Palm ...
Bouse, Arizona, United States dusterbinWe're coming up to the end of our stay at Black Rock RV Resort! It's been a super relaxing week..... We were greeted by awesome 90 degree heat and a dinner party upon our arrival where we met the crew. Our first couple days were consumed by cleaning and trying to fix grandpa's quad which finally required a trip to Parker (50 miles one way) for a new fuel pump. The new pool seems to be the place for gossip... we were informed on our second ...

On the Road, Around Quartzite, Arizona, United States pykesonthegoDay 6: Brawley, CA to Salome, AZ (61 miles; 4:11) After an early breakfast of waffles and juice; lugging luggage and bike down the stairs from the second floor; pumping tires; and packing snacks, water, and Gatorade for today's ride, we set out. Di, Barb, and I headed out of town at a leisurely pace, content to enjoy the gorgeous weather and not in a hurry to reach tonight's destination. We have been told that our accommodations for tonight are less ...

Phoenix, Arizona, United States mcashdollarYesterday, Saturday, Doug and I went to breakfast at the New York Deli and Bagel in Camarillo. Then Doug visited with Mike while Julie went to Curves and then to Gymboree with Kayla and Tanya. It was fun to watch the toddlers play. Afterward we had sandwiches at the mail store with Mike. Doug and I went to the grocery and then we all went home. Later we went to Westlake Village and had ...
Tonopah, Arizona, United States dugnjulie... over the edge. On the way back we stopped in at a Flintstone Park. Of course, it's closed up in February, but the lady working there allowed us in at a small expense and we had a time taking pictures and jumping in and out of the vehicles and houses. We walked away with two thermal coffee mugs and an assortment of other pricey artifacts, our fingers numb with cold but smiles plastered on for a good two hours afterwards.
