In his study in this house he met with Winston Churchill to devise the Manhattan Project, later known as the nuclear bomb which ended the war after his presidency!The presidential library was fantastic and we learnt a great deal about this man and American history in general.

    Departure from Nyack (we got dropped off just a bit out of NYC to avoid traffic) went well. We cycled approximately 65 km (40 miles). It was quite hilly (a lot more than what I am used to) but we eventually made it to Beacon, NY where we camped for the night in someone's backyard.

    I have made it back from my trip safely.

    This has been an amazing experience.

    I will now be heading to Washington state to start a job with Boeing as a Manufacturing Engineer.
