There were many times over the last quarter century when I contemplated paying one of the restaurants at CIA a visit. With a full day to make the drive to Vermont and weather too cold for doing anything outdoors to be very pleasant, finally having lunch at the CIA seemed like a great idea.

The morning of New Years Eve, we jumped in the car with Sasha and set out to see some more of Connecticut. I have never used a bus pass like these so I will keep you posted how they work out.

    The Beautiful town of Kent

A travel blog entry by heavenonearth on Oct 08, 2014

This was a very nice little town on the border on Connecticut and New York. It was so noce we almost stayed for the winter. The problem was that it was down in a valley so getting out of the valley with icy roads would have been a problem. During the summer there was the Houstonic River that ran along side the town. This place was beautiful during the fall. Also saw Bull's Covered Bridge. Too bad they did not have a campground ...
