After the Forbidden city, we took the subway back home, and I was so tired from today and hiking the Great Wall yesterday that I took a long nap. For dinner, my roommate and I grabbed some Taiwan pancakes, and ate in our room. For the rest of the night, a few girls and I sat in my room to talk and watch a movie, which was tons of fun. Tomorrow is a free day, and a few of us are planning on going to the zoo to see some pandas! Yay!
When I woke up,, I played around with my phone. I decided to go on Baidu.com, which is the commonly use Chinese search engine. I was able to read the characters on it! I recognized the one for music and decided to listen to some Ellie Goulding.
Some time later, I got breakfast and did Chinese homework in the basement lounge. Chloe entered and skyped her friend. Julia and Katherine came in too.
After finishing, I met up with Bethany to go to Xidan. ...

Now so far I have had poor luck with the quality of western food here in China. There is always some element that is just...off.
