So... that's it. I've officially finished my TEFL internship at Dao Ming. 1.5 weeks of goodbyes and games with 450 students and several teachers. I still don't think it's hit me properly although I did tear up in a couple of lessons. ... probably didn’t hurt that it was a rainy day.) The Parent Support Group is very active and involved in the planning and set-up and it’s mandatory that all teachers are in attendance. Tim and I had a busy day but it was certainly worth the effort.

We’re starting to wind down a bit. I invited all my parents in for a class celebration on Wednesday because one of my boys was leaving early to go back to the ...

... my equilibrium. Next Saturday is the Spring Fair and I’m on the organizing committee. The principal and I convinced the parent group that we should be donating the profits to a charity so the proceeds will go to the Nepal Earthquake Relief. We just finished our last set of parent teacher interviews yesterday AND we’ve written our last student narratives – comments about each child in all subjects – Alleluia!!! Now ...
