4-7pm is happy hour so we went and had a drink at the bar. The afternoon thunderstorm had rolled in so we were the only ones there. Australia was playing their first game of the World Cup against Chile so we stayed and watched while keeping the bar tender company. He gave us some ideas for things to do the next day. I’d like to thank my parents for letting me come on this amazing trip and my grandmother who made it possible. I had a fantastic time and I will never forget it. My favorite part was snorkeling and swimming along with the baby sea lions. This experience will last a lifetime. ... Our campsite here was beautiful. Right next to the water and surrounded by palm trees. Our first stop was the southern marker where we queued up for half an hour along side roughly a thousand Koreans to get our photo taken next to the large concrete monument. Next we headed on into town to book ourselves an action packed itinerary for the next day. We were so excited about our plans we decided to celebrate. Although there is still a Morton's steakhouse, the mile, actually a half-mile, consists of restaurants, bridal shops, spas and salons, and mid-priced jewelry stores; the fancy boutiques of the original 'miracle' are long gone.
