    ... from the put-in. It was a lovely spot - perfect for camping but camping is not allowed there. It has a little sandy beach where Otto fed some fish with bread and hopes to bring his grandson Milo. I took some photos with the macro part of my waterproof camera.

    ... they weren't optimal. One was too sttep. One was too far away. While exploring the put-ins, we met a couple from the Carolina's who had spent much time in the Adirondacks when they lived in Rochester. Oh, oh - was she Chris and I have forgotten his name. Very pleasant people. They said they were checking out some of the historical sights. Otto suggested we follow Tahawus road and see what we could see.

As we walked around we found several stages at which we could stop and listen to the music. The highlight was Florence K-an amazing piano player/singer and entertainer.     ... a mile to the top. There we had a 360 degree of the landscape-an amazing view in to both Vermont and Canada. We went down much more quickly then we went up-an 246 ft. elevator ride to the bottom. We enjoyed the majesty of the mountains, the amazing scenery and the views that only higher elevations can provide.
