... as you can imagine - not the best feeling in the world. There was no overhead storage space so we had to have our bags by our feet. This wasn't so much a problem for Dais but I had a huge holdall to shove down. I was pretty excited about this as I wanted to see historic section, Union Station, The Bradbury Building, The Angel Flight, etc. We didn't realize unlike the Red route, that has another bus every 20-30 minutes, the Purple only comes every 1:40 minutes. I don't think we could have fitted any more into one day!
Today, we hit Hollywood. The guide books recommended we drive the length of Mulholland Drive, high up in the Hollywood Hills to see all the huge mansions of the rich and famous. We were not disappointed. Homes belonging to Jack Nicholson, Warren Beatty, Elizabeth Taylor, Tom Cruise and Ron Howard, just to name a few.
