Here we are at our home base, Escapees Headquarters at Rainbow's End RV Park. Starting Friday (through Sunday) will be the Escapees Boot Camp, a number of seminars and sessions to help those who are considering the RV Lifestyle.

... they actually waived our normal deductible and we had zero out of pocket. The damage was minor in my opinion, but the repair bill still went over $1,800. We got caught up on all our our mail, including our absentee ballots from Washington State so it was a productive stay. We also went to Lake Livingston and took our inflatable kayak out on the lake for a most enjoyable day. From here we are heading towards southern Georgia for the winter. ...

We spent one month in the Livingston, TX area. Primarily just taking it easy and doing not much of anything. We touched base with our mail forwarding service (Escapees National Headquarters) and got everything all caught up on. The Big Ring Challenge in Coldspring, TX (near Houston) was a Big Success! We were able to take vacation on Friday so headed that way around 9 AM. We took the scenic route through the Sam Houston National Forrest which was just gorgeous. We arrived a bit early, but they let us check in with no problem.
