The remainder of the evening we all just sat around and relaxed and visited nothing exciting after that long drive from Northern California relaxing was the perfect thing to do.
So we have come to the end of our first day of our vacation which started out tremendously well
... in this case is more like curbside parking, with an RV in front and one in back, lol! The RV park, while old and small is situated under pine trees, adjacent to the base gold course. The upside is that it is located in Monterey, so we have no complaints. :)
So far, we have visited Fisherman's Wharf, the Naval Postgraduate School, Cannery Row, the Victorian city of Pacific Grove and Big Sur.
