... Road back towards Logan Pass which we had explored when we were on the west side of the park. The eastern section of the road was previously closed due to the forest fire and firefighting support activities. We were dumfounded by the magnitude and expanse of the blackened forest along the journey as well as the closed camping areas and trails. However, there were also some amazing roadside vistas which we were able to stop at and enjoy.

... the turnoff, we heard what sounded like a rock slide tumbling down the mountain. I was getting ready to duck, when I realized it was a pair of deer coming down the slope. They didn't expect us on the trail, so one of them didn't see us in time and jumped on the trail right in-between us and the people behind us. He (or she) stared at the people as if daring them to get off the trail, then veered off to the side. That was, unfortunately, as close as we've gotten to wildlife ...

... black bear eating on the side of the road. Yes, I yelled "Bear!!!" Like Aunt Eileen, lol. I made dad stop short & backup & it was totally worth it. We watched from the RV, then other people saw us stop. When they did, the fools got out. So after a few minutes of me letting them be foolish & me watching the Bears reaction, we too got out, but kept a safe distance. This time I got better pics, check it out!

... Canada tomorrow. The Dish is set up and we are watching the news with a Roast, Potatoes and Carrots on the BBQ. Life is good.

The next 4 days we will be in Banff. There is no WiFi at the Campground and we will have limited Data service so it may be a few days before you hear about our further adventures. We will do our best to stay in touch. We love and miss everyone....Good Night.

... issues have been updated/resolved with the newer model. No more tempered glass shelf, shower door, not curtain, USB plugs everywhere (the snake of cords right by Rob is comical when we are powering up all the devices), the gas mileage apparently is more than 6 mpg too! kind of sad leaving, hadn't felt that way anywhere else..... I definitely would love to come back to see more.
