We hiked to Astar Park, a trail in the Two Medicine Lake region. At the end of the day we went to St. Mary, the eastern end of the Going to the Sun Highway.

... were 3-4 times higher than a normal store. In Washington state we paid $ 1.25 on sale for Chunky Soup by Campbell's. Here in this store for the same soup it was $ 4.99 just for one can. we decided to eat the food we have in the car and forget get something fresh out of the store. We had a nice talk with a lady that lived in Browning, MT. And work in Glacier National Park. she told us she only works there two months a year. It is closed the rest ...
... and nice and hospitable...and they make GREAT BEER. They don't distribute east of the Missisippi yet, so that explains why we didn't know much about them. We had a sampling flight (FREE) and then purchased a six pack of Moose Drool to take with us in our cooler. A good night's sleep and we hit the road early again. This time heading straight toward Glacier National Park.

... We decided to see go see the Museum of the Plains Indians in nearby Browning MT. We almost did not see the museum because it looked closed and the sign said summer hours starting June 1. The woman in the local tourist trap told us to try anyway and as we drove into the parking lot there was a couple coming out of the museum. It was well worth the time. I am doing our stay in Glacier National Park as one blog, instead of spreading it over three days. Our days were filled with beautiful scenery, lots of driving, sun, clouds, rain (heavy at times), at different areas to hike or take a boat ride, eating and drinking. It was a glorious time.
