We hiked to Astar Park, a trail in the Two Medicine Lake region. At the end of the day we went to St. Mary, the eastern end of the Going to the Sun Highway.

I'll let the pictures do the rest of the talking. There are more than usual.

      No blog tomorrow. We're resting!

This time heading straight toward Glacier National Park.

... We decided to see go see the Museum of the Plains Indians in nearby Browning MT. We almost did not see the museum because it looked closed and the sign said summer hours starting June 1. The woman in the local tourist trap told us to try anyway and as we drove into the parking lot there was a couple coming out of the museum. It was well worth the time. I decided that I wanted to try to go to St Mary's from Browning and maybe find some lunch in St Mary's. On ...

I am doing our stay in Glacier National Park as one blog, instead of spreading it over three days. Our days were filled with beautiful scenery, lots of driving, sun, clouds, rain (heavy at times), at different areas to hike or take a boat ride, eating and drinking. It was a glorious time.
The first day, we went to Many Glacier Hotel and took a boat ride (on two boats and two lakes with a short trek up and down hill ...
