... up closing the place down. When we were getting ready to leave, it was pouring down the rain. We talked about a cab but figured by the time the cab got there, if one came, we could already be at the hotel so we headed out. By the time we got there, we were all soaked, rain dripping off our heads wet. We all were laughing pretty hard by the time we got to the hotel. Thank goodness it was a long overnight so I could hang my clothes up to dry ...

Since we weren't leaving until 1100 because of adverse tide in the Cape Fear, we didn't pay much mind ---- except, when 1100 rolled around, the pea soup fog was still with us. The brew master was a really cool guy and explained how his small facility made their beers which ...

... You have a green card for "bring me meat", or a red card "stop the meat"! The salad bar is amazing, with many different and unusual salads, etc. If you get the opportunity, be sure to try it...the menu is buffet only.

After dinner we "rolled" back to the beach house for the night. Tomorrow is our last full day.

I know I sound spoiled, but a trip to the beach is just what we needed after India. We drove 10 hours from Ohio to make it to the lovely beaches at Topsail Island, overlooking the Atlantic. This is my second time there, and it's still great. Hope to make it down here for more family fun again sometime ...
