A Day in York Beach, Maine
... in 1879, the Nubble Lighthouse is surrounded by York Harbor, which provides breathtaking views on all sides of the lighthouse. The lighthouse itself is on a small island with roughly 100 feet separating it from Nubble Road. While I was unable to find a staff member to provide me with more information, I was entertained by the sights and photographic opportunities that the lighthouse and the surrounding landscape provided.
