... We also stopped at Fort Bragg to grab a cup of coffee and check out the glass beach. The glass beach was formed due to mass dumping of used glass bottles/containers into the ocean. After years of smoothing from the waters, the small glass particles wash up on the shore. Unfortunately the beach was pretty dirty and there was mass construction surrounding it so we did not stay long.

As we passed a stopped car in the roadway, we saw the reason, the car had hit a mature doe. The deer had died, but all of the people in the car that struck the deer were OK - and it didn't look like too much damage ...

... the best condition for a little family reunion. I was in pretty sad shape, but went to a clinic the next day to get fixed up. I was a bit nervous with my treatment at first when my nurse checked my throat.
Nurse: "Wow. That thing in the back of your throat is really swollen."
    Me: "What thing?"
Nurse: "That bulby thing that hangs in the back. I forget what it's called."
    Me: "The uvula?"
