So we left around 4:45 pm as we knew the traffic was going to be slow and just as well we did. By the time we returned the car and took the courtesy bus to the airport it was 6 pm, so we thought we had plenty of time, but Delta hadn't told us that we had to actually check-in at Virgin Australia, because they were operating the flight, so after wasting a lot of time waiting, we had to ...

And the trash from the previous renter was still in the pocket of the door. Ugh!! Complaint to the AVIS guy at Logan, for whatever it's worth.

When we checked in, we were told the flight was delayed and would not leave until 1pm. Since our LA flight would not leave until 5pm, we ...

... morning so that we could drive down to San Diego. We whisked along the Hollywood Boulevard, snapped photos with the handprints outside Chinese Theatre and even managed to slip in some shopping. When we were exchanging our car at Hertz, we met Matt, an Asian-American, who was extremely jaded and depressed by the fact that he was born in California. He was envious of our Australian upbringing because we were more "sophisticated and educated". We could not help but ...
