    ... flesh was being shaken off! They did warn us beforehand and said it wasn't suitable for anyone with poor health or strength.

    ... have been placed into the private sector with two successful bidders modifying these pads.

    Spacex and Boeing were the winning bidders for this. There is a great deal of work going on at the launch sites to get them ready for the new rockets that will be used.

    ... the launch experience and entry to the Astronaut hall of fame which is located a short distance away(we went there the next day).

    The highlight would have to be…. Hmm, I am not really sure as it was all pretty great. The imax were fabulous and all of the exhibits were great.     ... had the weather been clear, we sat near the glass windows and watched the storm continue of the water inlets.

    With belly's full, and although darkened by the storm and the approaching evening we drove into the tourist centre of Cocoa Beach for a look at the Ron Jon's Surf store. Yep, with surf gear for sale at Aussie retail prices...nothing was purchased and we made it into the carpark during a break in the weather only to stand in "tail-gaiting" watching ...

    ... took off for Daytona. It was nice to be driving on the right side of the road again! At Daytona we got approached for a promo for a "new" local hotel, with free tickets to Daytona and a free night's stay at the hotel in Daytona Beach.
