We also visited Kennebunkport, where we played political voyeurs, trying to catch a glimpse of the George Walker Bush family at their summer retreat on Walker's Point. Alas, it was across the bay and the family was probably far away because ...

We wanted to eat lobster and oysters on the half shell, track elusive moose, and watch the sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean when we visited Maine for three weeks. We were more than satisfied by accomplishing three of those goals and happy to leave the moose for another visit to this most northeasterly state in the U.S.
