This morning we had to move on because we are running out of time (and this campground is full up tonight). We decided to update Madame GPS and when we plugged her in to the computer, we found the update was going to take 3 hours!? Now we have to leave the electricity hooked up to keep the computer going and we can't disconnect. Great. We got all the chores we could done after showering. We decided to take the scooter into Old Williamsburg. ...

... noon tomorrow, but at this point, like a college student who has burned herself out with cramming for a test 13 hours before it starts, all the big stuff that could be done is done. We are going to have SUCH an amazing time meeting everyone, watching them meet each other, helping each other make this an experience they will never, ever forget.

    ... to the mainland.

That was all for tomorrow, right now, hot, sticky and tired we need a camp and there are not that many at the northern end.

There’s a “dry camp” (no hook ups) in a state park 14 miles south, could be full, there’s a campground beyond that, very long way, - so let’s ask the GPS! GPS comes up with two options on an island close by, we thankfully head down the side road towards them on ...

Dinner Time! We had dinner at a pizza place called PIZZAZ... not so good! We are spoiled with our greek pizza back home. We truly appreciate the kind of pizza we have at home. Our plan for the next day was go spend the day at the beach and relax.

Oh, and when arrived in Nags Head we found out a hurricane was coming... uh oh!

Good night! Love, Katie and Kevin

... a shark's tooth! My first ever. And some really nice rocks that have been tumbled and tumbled so are quite smooth and nice. We did get quite wet though because we would stand and look through the pile of stuff and not pay attention to the waves which came and got us a few times. We were both wet up to our waists by the time we left. My hubby had a pocketful of rocks and shells and a shark tooth. A good day beachcombing.
