This would be a great place to stay if it wasn't for the fog. it is only in summer. The room was comfortable and clean. Close to the beach and good value with a breakfast included in the price. Also close to Hearst Castle.

Best inn I've stayed in so far. Nothing fancy, but for the location it's got the best prize/value relation.
Clean rooms with a beatiful ocean sunset view. Big comfy beds. Breakfast offers the basics like toast, coffee and juice, though seating space is sparse.

... finished in San Simeon close to sunset. Along the way I got to be of service to the riders/soldiers and assist them in staying in the ride. I spent many of the first 3 hours pacing a young soldier across various climbs. At times we couldn't climb any faster than 2 miles per hour. That particular soldier made it all 93 miles. Out of 200 + riders I finished the ride with the last 10 riders ...

This congregation started when seven elephant seals pulled themselves onshore in 1990., word spread fast! There were only adolescent males and females on the beach, no beach masters in sight. These are the type of seals that develop a proboscis that can measure nearly two feet ...
