We left Ticaboo, Utah and went to have a look at Lake Powell. Just missed the ferry by 5 minutes so had to drive around the lake which is huge as we headed for Tuba City in Arizona.

We stumbled upon Glen Canyon in Utah which was real nice and would've missed it if we caught the ferry so worked out well. We drove through monument valley which is all the big rocks you often see in movies.

Had a rest up in Tuba City for the night, not much ...

... Corky’s with their pig logo. When you look a little closer, you saw that it was made using bottle caps. There were plenty of other signs and such decorating the walls, but this was really cool.

They had kindly arranged for us to stay with a friend, which meant we had separate bedrooms, clean fluffy towels and he even did a ...

... There is a grave marker for his twin brother however he is still buried in Tupelo. Of course this is the most popular spot at Graceland and there are people there crying and distraught.

The tour was really good but I would have liked to have found more out about his life, it is portrayed as all happy families and in reality that isn’t how it was. There was no mention of his depression, drugs, affairs, bad diet and nothing on Priscilla and Lisa Maire which ...

Memphis and the Mustang

A travel blog entry by rabiensaul on Oct 20, 2014

... Shut up Robert. I watched the next 17 days unfold with my faced squished against my brothers and the windscreen of a Fiat Bambino, Look its all we have left. Or a Nissan Micra. Beep Beep. We have a nice looking Nissan? But I had no one from Dollar to talk to. Can I help you? Yeah my bride left me here. Really? Yeah do you know when she left? Yes 11.00pm. Like the sign says, "Bride leaving in Mustang at 11.00pm". It was etched in the universe. I could hear Jock ...
