... where one tug pushes a whole fleet of barges, sometimes 6 abreast and 6 or 7 barges long (so that's a group of up to 40 barges). Narrow boating on an industrial scale. They carry coal, gravel, timber and grain and come all the way from Minnesota up north.

... br> music bar on beale street for a drink and to experience a Memphis Saturday night. It was a good night, then when we left Beale street
was very crowded and it took a long time to get to the top of the
street so we could get back to the hotel. This was because there were
people trying to get in and the police had roped off the street. It
was crazy, but we got out and walked another 10 minutes back to the
hotel, we got back about 2am and went to bed.

... on each corner. Didn't hear any of the music we had come for. Tomorrow we will go to Gospel Tabernacle church for a new experience and then the Martin Luther King Museum. So this morning, I checked with the front desk to make sure that the church was in a safe area and worth seeing.
