The food was superb,
CJ had Goat cheese stuffed cannelloni with white crab in an Irish cheddar cheese sauce
I had prime rib, carnivore that I am, cooked to perfection..
A realy nice bottle of the local vineyard's best.
Followed by Pomegranate cheese cake..

Finally to waddle back down the road to bed..

... beautiful the Canadians and US look after their gardens and roadside strips. The houses are well maintained and manicured. they show great pride in their homes and hang their patriotic banners and flags outside too. They are very house proud. Lunch is at Kurtz Orchard. Back into the car to return to New York State and travel east through Syracuse to Cooperstown, the home of the Baseball Hall of Fame. Great country roads and villages along the way. We stopped for some fresh strawberries and met Mallory who'd never met an Australian and was 4th generation Dutch, working on the family farm. Beautiful strawberries too!

Well we wouldn't be tourists if we didn't!

... Such an awesome start to a sunny and vibrant day, also to treat my tired legs I had a massive spa bath awaiting my return!

Our second day at the falls was just as sunny as the first, in fact I think we both got a little tanned. We did all the touristy things including the maid of the mist boat ride down to the base of the falls. It is actually quite a different perspective from the boat, depending where you are on the boat, you get drenched! But it's worth ...
