... here, but they were not buying that the Greek God's were not the be all and end all. We walked all over the rocks and got goose bumps thinking that the apostle Paul walked all over these steps, and the philosophers spoke to the Athenians from there...man, think of what these rocks have seen and heard! And the view of Athens below was breathtaking.
We kept hiking and stopped at the entrance to the Acropolis...man the sheer volume ...
... Suite!!! Our own pool, patio, sitting room, two bathrooms and the most and best view of the Acropolis!!!!
We pinched ourselves and then sat on the patio admiring the view of the Acropolis with our feet in the pool...a little cold but a pool!!! Later we had an early dinner at a tavern a few blocks away...very Greek...have I mentioned that we love Greek food? Then we walked to the Parliament Building and took the long way back ...
... to see if Anita, Matt and Susie could come and join me for a cup of coffee in Albany. But between the snow and the train running late, it didn't work out, so I will see them later this week anyway.

Made it to Holiday Inn Express in Rensselaer, NY, just outside Albany. Got an oil change and a car wash (my car is now happy with me!)...gotta keep 'em happy you know.
Contemplating either BBQ or Mexican for dinner....and I'll leave you with that!
