... approach to landing I gave the passengers a little bit more "float" on touchdown than normal but got it on the ground firmly in some brisk winds. Enrique's Mexican Restaurant on the airfield accommodated us with lunch in the Pilot Lounge since we had Ichabod with us because "no se admiten perros en el restaurante". Ichabod did great with his home-rigged noise canceling headsets and slept most of the way. Good boy! Next stop, Little Rock, ...

I then came across a crossing with only a little water and the bike slid badly. i stopped to warn the chaps by offering the correct signals....Gabe went through giving it loads of gas and over she went, now that was funny.

... 18wheelers go steam rolling by you tend to get knocked around on the bike a bit. There was a point when I looked up and saw a tank of a semi above me while I was still riding on road which forced me to ride off side of road, but fortunately no harm done. Just teaches us all to be alert on road, even though I'll admit I get caught up in conversation often and tend to miss when a road narrows or a random object gets in way (shocker I know!) ...

... gorgeous Oklahoma scenery (minus the spotted tarantula?!?) carried us through to lunch. I napped after lunch and headed out with Alycia, Lorraine, Jamie, and Carlee before getting separated and engaging in some good conversation with Carlee.
