We arrived in Avoca WI to stay at a lovely city park on lake Avoca surrounded by tall pine trees and buzzing with Mosquitos.. We quickly drove over to Spring Green to see Taliesin. We signed up for a two hour tour and were both ready to collapse by the end of it. Taliesin is magnificent and well worth seeing however ...

Weather permitting and fingers crossed, this is my plan of attack.
Friday, April 12: Arrive in Keflavik at 6:30 am. Gather my bags, get a rental car and head to Reykjavik for one night. Spend the day exploring Reyk, check out a local geothermal pool, eat some Plokkfiskur (an Icelandic delicacy), drink some coffee, eat a hotdog at the famous ...
... like Ŝingvellir National Park (Thing-vell-ear), Gullfoss (waterfall), Geysir, Jokulsarlon (Yo-kul-sar-lon), things in Reykjavik (Rake-ya-veek), Skogafoss (waterfall), Snĉfellsnes (Sneye-fells-ness) Peninsula, and the Blue Lagoon, there are some other sites that I'm super excited about. 3. Iceland is close. It's a mere 5 hour-flight from Washington D.C. - definitely not as far as Spain, China or Australia.

I am doing this blog to keep everyone updated back home. Mike and I will be moving to the Marshall Islands. Mike got a job as kennel master and I will be going out as island fluff until I can find a job on island. Mike and I met out there 3 years ago and are really exited to get back out there. Mike has been there since February 20 and I will be leaving on Sunday March 10th. Can't wait to get out there and start our life ...
