Thus ending our leaf peeping journey. ... and found us a perfect room for our needs. I have to say this was probably my fave hotel of the whole trip! They were so nice and clean and had great amenities. I did some laundry there that night and they were nice enough to put us on the 1st floor so no dragging our stuff up all those stairs like the other hotels. I was thrilled with this hotel…AND it was cheaper then the Hampton!! Sometimes you think you are screwed but you end up with a great find. ...
... Now we have a car, we can stop at will (well almost) and can enjoy our own lunch choice. Another dose of retail therapy too - Steph skipped the tablecloths and opted for new jeans, while I thought of next summer and bought a pair of shorts from Sears! Exciting stuff, eh?

Yesterday I hired a car in Boston and drove for 3 hours to Albany in up state New York. Very strange at first driving an automatic, my left leg kept instinctively moving. Me and the car made it in one piece though. The trees are just starting to turn too so it's was a very pretty drive.
