After a 7hr drive stopping at Port Macquarie for lunch we arrive at Coffs Harbour. Our accommodation for the night are cargo containers. It's an interesting experience, these tin cans. The door to the ensuite doesn't close but the beds are fine. They are situated by the side of an inlet. The river/sea runs past, the birds cruising by with the sand makes the scenery beautiful. Everyone looked mighty impressed and I stood there ...

Met another Swiss girl Martina and she was going on the same Fraser Island trip as me so that was good to know. Friday I had a chill day, hung out with Dave and went to the beach but it started raining. Had dinner with Trina and Dave, nice spot Noosa, lots of places to ...

... from here. The lookout was pretty and reminded us both of England with the dramatic cliff drops and proper grass which we had not really seen since England as in Asia and Queensland it was mainly thick grass. We took a few pictures before heading into Lennox Head where we stopped at Lake Ainsworth, a beautiful large lake with tannin brown coloured waters from the tree roots that lined most of it. We admired it for nearly an hour from a bench on the small beached ...
