Scottish origins and the pole painting came about with the arrival of the Olympic torch in 2000, when originally only a few poles were painted, however the community liked it so much that it continued and now over 200 poles are painted and include Scottish clan names.My bus arrived at Coffs Harbour on time - apparently a very rare occurrence!
