Old Friends, Good Wine

One plus of a road trip is being able to stop when and where we want, see friends, make a detour, eat in a restaurant or in the RV, turn around and go back home.

Once I knew that I had to go to San Francisco for some claim work it made sense to come on up to the Petaluma area. There was a wine pickup party at Armida, a winery which we belong to and I wanted a couple of cases of Poison anyway for the road trip.

... little 30' Quark. In Mexico in 1983, he met the lovely Dianne, a housemate of mine, who was aboard another boat headed to Tahiti. Dave contacted her after she returned to BC to ask if she would like to meet him for several weeks of cruising. Just goes to show that when opportunity knocks, you should answer. ... de sculptures de quatre pieds de haut ayant été réparties aux quatre coins dans la ville. Comme elles ne sont pas confinées au centre-ville, on peut en croiser à peu près n’importe où! Nous avons même vu un Joe Cool depuis l’autobus dans un quartier purement résidentiel.

Le déplacement à Santa Rosa nous a aussi donnés la chance de traverser le Golden Gate Bridge, qui est une expérience en soi à cause des vues fantastiques. ...
