... dozens of four-foot tall sculptures were scattered around town. Because the sculptures are not confined to downtown, it is possible to run into one just about anywhere! We even spotted a Joe Cool from the bus in a squarely residential area.

... Santa Rosa we drove up US 1 to where the Russian River connects to Hwy 116 that took us back to town. What a beautiful, scenic drive. California might not be a place you would want to live, but it does have some of the most beautiful scenery on the planet.
Today we will be heading north up US 1 to see the giant redwood trees.

All in all Napa Valley was great and we're looking forward to coming back next year. For now, we headed to our last camping destination: Yosemite National Park.
