      ... including the Appalachian Trail (twice), The Long Trail, and the John Muir Trail. We filtered water from a horse trough and pressed on to a windy yet beautiful valley.       ... today. You pretty much have to go to the coast area to find something going on. This whole Eastern side of CA is farms and not much else. Especially not on Christmas unless you're an Assembly of God member. Then I guess you spend the day at church.
