Woke up feeling pretty good today, slightly sore butt muscles but otherwise no worse for wear from yesterday's walk. Had a cruisy day today. Caught the shuttle to observe El Capitan and listened to some rock climbers talk about their sport - bloody crazy people. Super interesting though. El Cap is HUGE, and the average time to summit is about 5 days, with the record being about 2 hrs 13 minutes. Crazy monkey. The equipment they use was awesome, got a full demo. ...
After a harrowing trip to SFO (to return the rental car), Fox and Mouse bid farewell to Cumin and scurried as quickly as they could to catch the last train to Santa Clara. Here they were picked up at the train station by the most hospitable Danny, Cumin's father.
