      ... river below too - the water still runs underneath the top layers of ice. It's really cool, the water has just frozen mid-stream. There is only one time in history where the falls have frozen completely, so ur 150 years ago. Wow it must have been cold for that to happen!       The bus was much better than the last and we were there in no time. We got a taxi to our hotel since we didn't have to pay for the luggage. On the way we got our first views of the falls. I couldn't wait to see them. Once we got to the hotel we freshened up and decided on a Italian restaurant recommended by the receptionist in the hotel.       ... Again asking the guy behind the desk what was going on he simply said 'don't use Greyhound again' and that was it. We had to wait for the next bus at 10:30 which eventually showed up at 11:00! We let out a sigh of relief to be on a bus but after only about 1/2 an hour there was a loud bang which sounded like something had fallen off and the driver had to pull over to assess the damage.
