... I like my new job at the gift shop where people can buy different great souvenirs! When I don't work at the shop, I help the main staff at the office! Thursday, I helped Erin with a school group for an educational activity. It was really nice and the kids were so excited to learn about the manatee. At the office, we worked on the preparations of the Oyster Festival organized by the Manatee Center. I did my first promotional poster (see the pictures). I spent the week ...

We talked probably for too long as the boy was obviously very smitten & she was leaving the next day to travel back to New York and then Poland on Tuesday, so we said a fond farewell, hope he makes an impression as she was eager to get back to the US. Left her a piña colada that Peter had bought (I'd had enough!) for a slow walk back to our nice room, it's still lovely and warm - wish we could know how things ...

We bought sweet potatoes to feed them and we actually had their black tongues linking our hands for more…what a treat! I bought Zander a stuffed giraffe that is bigger than he is. Of course, Makana pouted all the way out of the zoo saying, "You never bought me a stuffed animal at the zoo. ...

... keep up her pace. Lots of mom/daughter chat time...LOVED it! We then opened up all of the drawers and played with the baby's clothes and I learned how to put on an Ergo...hmmmmm...

I'm spending the morning with my amazing son in law and then heading out for a long walk on the beach. It's not Maui here, but to just be back in the sun and sand is perfect. Stay tuned for more updates!
