... to stay. For five miles we passed nothing but holiday homes and condos, then we reached Long Branch, and spotted a Motel sign right next to the beach. A laconic guy showed us a room and gave a discount for cash. Within walking distance was an area of shops and restaurants, mostly upmarket for a nearby spa resort, but we found a reasonable diner. Walked back along the beach with the moon over the ...

Being direction-savvy, I hedged and went left because that was south and I was, for the most part, headed south. I immediately found myself driving under a bridge. Like, in the movies. Only it wasn't a movie. There weren't even any lanes marked, you just drove between the pylons. ...

Today was anything but ordinary. We began with the smallest venue yet, meaning it had the smallest dock as well. It only allowed for one truck to unload at a time, and that one had to be unloaded by forklift because there was no trailer unloading depression. We didn't start the LED wall until after 1pm and I didn't get to my DL side screens until around 3pm.
Once we were loaded in, we did our typical sound checks and everything ...
