      Today was by far our longest day of driving. We drove a total of 11.5 hours from Twin Falls to Portola Valley, CA- Joanna's home. I had pretty low expectations for our Nevada drive and was shockingly surprised by the Ruby Mountains. We also stopped in Elko and were greeted by very sweet folks at the grocery store during our lunch stop.
