It's morning, no story yet but having lunch with my daughter Sonya at La Gloria, no , that's not heaven, nor is it that sleepy little town down in South Texas by the border. It's a Mexican food restaurant at the old Pearl Brewery grounds. Is it any good or just ok, tell ya later,at least my thoughts. Oh, in San Antonio,Texas ( home of the Alamo. Got to La Gloria a bit early and sat in the shade by the SA river taking in the place. Parking was a bit tight but it's Friday ...

After anther 50 miles we checked in to a motel in Sonora and it's stopped raining.

minority type can either withstand tacos or counterbalances with running.
Specially at the Riverwalk of San Antonio you see quite some runners at any

So now you wonder what I had for lunch today? Of course tacos!! Tacos de

Today (June 30) was mostly a driving day. We drove on U.S. 90 which heads to San Antonio between I-10 and the Mexico border; probably more interesting than I-10; at least, that was our thought. We stopped for a bit in Langtry to visit the Judge Roy Bean Museum -- this was his stomping ground. His saloon/courthouse is on the site, basically unrestored, but surprisingly intact and spartan. The museum also had an interesting cactus garden. It allowed us to attach names to ...
