    Shopping ... unsuccessfully

A travel blog entry by jason934 on Oct 08, 2015

Our only activity today was an attempt to get the suitcases fuller before we head home in three weeks. We went to many stores over 6 hours and didn't get much at all, despite trying on lots of clothes. The day was pretty warm but it got overcast so the day was comfortable despite being in the late 80s. For lunch we had Taco Bell and for dinner we had ...

    Underground caves and snake farm

... the caves we stopped at the Animal Park and Snake Farm on the way back to the hotel. There were a huge number of snake types either some brilliant colours and patterns. For dinner we went to Wendy's and had some ...

The scenery is becoming more like the ...

... canons, knives, swords etc. It must have been extremely laboring to do this! It was about 11:30 am when we finished the tour (on a nicer day you could obviously spend longer if you didn't skip things like we did, pending interest!); we headed to Rivercenter Mall to have some breakky (our first ihop experience), as well as do some shopping to better equip ourselves with the climate! Mum found a puffer jacket on sale at Macy's, down from $200-something to $90" and ...

Upon waking up this morning I found out that quite a lot of problems had occurred throughout the night, everyone was quite loud so many people didn't sleep much, lucky for me I was out like a light. We were headed in for a free day in San Antonio today. Unfortunately for us the weather wasn't looking very welcoming and it was raining and freezing. The first place we arrived was the Alamo, we learnt a bit of history about it. ...
