Today we got off to a late start out of Mountain Home. We had a few errands to run to the Fedex store to ship back a box of items discovered to be unnecessary and to the local hardware store to find a replacement bolt for one that I'd lost along the way. ... rustic cabin (no frills) but it was located right on the Salmon with a perfect view of the Sawtooth mountains. We went to Redfish Lake on the second day we were there. The ogs had a great time playing on the beach. Beautiful area and a chance to relax on the river after a lot of driving. We are about half way thru our trip now....on to Montana ...

... wilderness area (called sawtooth due to the shape of the mountains here). Before leaving the car park we were required to fill in permits, giving our details - one copy to be left in a box at the trailhead, another to be attached to our rucksacks.
