... You can see the lake from almost everywhere in the house. When I walked in today I actually felt an "ahhhh" looking out at the water. This is the only place in which I felt an emotional response on entering the house. There is such a feeling of the outside being part of the house BUT the house is older, the HOA fees are much higher and you have to join Plantation in order to have a club house and activities. Turn the calendar from January 31 to Feb 1 and this place changes dramatically. The island has gone from a sleepy peaceful place with few people, mostly older, to more traffic, more people.
