... This exit was small, a couple hotels, a couple gas stations, and a scary diner. Andy snacked, I read, and we hit the sack for an early departure tomorrow.

This was the hotel we had to take Pippi out 3 times prior to going to bed because there was no grass and she kept getting burrs in her foot so she wouldn't go to the bathroom.

... t get the license number fully. About half an hour later, a Utah State Trooper sped by us and pulled a car over. Lo and behold, the same one! I'm amazed that we saw no accidents due to the creative driving we'd witnessed.

We also went to Monument Valley and Arches national park in Utah, after the grand canyon (which is in arizona). We met a guy called Matt at the grand canyon and him and his dog Ted came with us. It took about 5 hours to get to get there, all on desert roads. There are a lot of native indians along the way with stalls selling really nice jewellery that they make.

... boiling day and so I was as usual travelling with only a T-shirt on but as like many folk on this planet I just never learn!! Just like a few days ago there was loads of large hornets flying around and for sure one was going to get me. Smash, right into my arm this damm thing went and somehow managed to get down my shirt and sting me. I stopped and pulled the large sting out myself.
