We fell asleep last night to the sounds of coyotes yipping, thousands of frogs and the snorting of the horses that befriended us. We awoke early with the need to get as many miles as possible as there was a threat of severe weather that would change this day of 85 degrees to less than forty within a couple of days, snow included.
