We had a relatively short drive through very agreeable Autumn foliage into the State of Maine. Our stay is in Rangeley, on the 45th parallel exactly half way between the Equator and the North Pole. The kids swam, the grown-ups relaxed and chatted, the Dads played 'Monkey in the Middle' with the kids, we ate a picnic lunch......All in all a perfect way to bring our time together to a close.
