... are staying in is just gorgeous, like something from a movie. The town is like Noosa but thinking fishing village rather than beachside, tiny, posh, bridges, limited parking. And it's frickin' freezing! We checked in, did a quick walk around then went to a hotel on the river for a drink (which was full of cool people). ... II docked in port (the Bluenose is on our CDN dime). We drove on the coastal route Hwy 10 to Peggy's Cove and its was beautiful in an ethereal way with the fog and the tiny seaside villages. We toured downtown Halifax with Kens cousin as our tour guide and toured the Museum of Immigration at Pier 21 in Halifax which was very interesting. The Museum of Immigration also has a Family History ...

... is over as we head north the colours are still vibrant and from up so high look amazing. Fort Knox it turns out was commenced after the revolution, believing the British would re-invade.  It was still yet to be completed when there was a 'bloodless’ turf war over the borders of Maine (US), Quebec and New Bruswick (British).  So the fort, though prepared for major defence was never required for use in combat.  It is an ...
