    Left the beautiful north woods this morning. My neighbors in the State Park Campground, Bruce and Holly, issued a most gracious invitation to camp in their driveway in Boise on my way back to Cody if I took that route. As I have said before, you meet some of the greatest people out here on the road!

    I'm writing this a couple of days later, so let's see how well my memory backs me up. I'll start from the evening because that's what I can remember. Scott and I planned to cook our dinner outside on the fire pit. So I cut up some bell peppers, zucchini, and onion, while he marinated some some chicken that we defrosted from the freezer. For a while we were trying to find what to marinated the chicken in, because we didn't want to use anything that had fructose corn syrup in it. ...

    After Breakfast Talita called Johnny and we met at the local grocery store and headed for a couple of good areas to pick fresh wild blackberries. We must have picked $20.00 worth of these little gems. Blackberries grow wild in this part of Washington. It's a little early in the season, but there were still a lot to pick.
