... the other half went to Hollywood studios. It was a very hot afternoon and we actually had our first bit of rain. Enough to cool us down a bit. I went off to Hollywood studios but after a few hours, the head cold that I was beginning to develope really took hold and I headed back to the hotel. But everyone stayed on well into the night, exploring and enjoying their parks. Tomorrow is a full day at Universal / Islands of adventure so I hope everyone can get a good nights sleep ...

The food here is so delicious and the portions are huge. We each ordered from the prix fixe menu, which included either French onion soup or a mixed greens salad with house vinaigrette. Nancy ordered the roasted half chicken, Courtney chose the four cheese mac & cheese, and I ordered the short ribs ...

... as good as always. After that was over, the park was closed. We headed back to the hotel until our massive dinner at O'hana. Once we got to the hotel, we had an hour or two to relax before heading out. This was a perfect opportunity for us to lay out in the hammocks in front of the Cabanas (our section of the resort). As we were relaxing out there, we could hear Fantasmic playing over at Hollywood Studios. That was pretty cool. It wasn't long before we needed to head ...
