      ... froze anything we could...all to avoid the fruit and veggie police that usually take all that stuff away...and the border guard only asked where we were going and if anyone on board had been fingerprinted or we answered no and we passed though. Amazing...the questions are always different...and our theory about who is driving when we go through has been blown away...go figure! It's now later that same day...and we just filled up in ...

      My next exciting blog entry will detail the process of getting money from my Australian bank into my Canadian one. I know you cannot wait for the riveting details of that compelling story!

      I've included some pictures taken from the bus as we drove on the ice-fields parkway, voted one of the most scenic drives in the world. The parkway connects Jasper and Banff, two national parks.

      ... clothes. Once outside, it turned out that I would have needed more clothes, actually. It was so cold that my face was hurting and my eyebrows froze... I didnīt wonder anymore why there were no people on the streets - everyone uses his/her car and avoids going outside.
      Luckily, the weather changed after the first weekend and at the end it even got really warm (+10 C)!
