... we first arrived which was handy as Joe needed ice for his knee and as we didn't have any in the fridge we took a plastic bag downstairs and filled it with snow..problem solved. I must admit passers by did look at me a little strangely !
Everyone we have met so far has been very friendly. As soon as they hear our accent they ask where are we from. Some think we are British but when we say we are from Australia it is surprising how many of them have lived in Oz ...
... to the centre where out came the camera again for many still shots walking along the waterfront path. I started at the American falls and walked toward Horseshoe Falls and as I got closer the spray from Horseshoe was all over the walkway from at least 700 mtrs away.
There was a tour across on the American side where you could walk behind the falls and not sure if there was one for Horseshoe.

... with only a few moments of turbulence. Upon arrival we got our rental car, which I have to call back and complain about because a minivan is not a compact car!
After seeing if any of the other rental places had something smaller, to no avail, it was off to the Accent Inns hotel about ten minutes away to get some rest before venturing over to the island tomorrow morning and the reunion of Nate Squared. No photos yet but we will be sure to post many of them in the coming days.
