Quiet this morning and I was up with the sun as my pancake mattress was a little uncomfortable. Packed up our tent after breakfast and was very well behaved as we did not make noise to wake up the neighbors, although I really did fancy getting a wooden spoon and dinging a saucepan outside their RV. We drove for 7 hours before we arrived at Daytona Beach due to road works. At one point In our journey we were behind a driver after Tallahassee and he was weaving and then went ...

          Second adventure with some modifications.

Snagged a concrete site across from the bathhouse. Kinda loved it !

Mosquitoes were relentless ! Park is nice, lot of places to walk dogs, but too many mossies.

Saw a Diamondback rattlesnake (aproxx. 4 ft) purchased walking sticks and will stick to well cleared trails.

Abundant deer. Lots of places to fish, yet none were biting.

... was fun. Went to the Daytona Speedway and took a tour. We weren't able to do the ride along as they were not offering them that day - or any of the days we were in Daytona. The tour took us out onto the actual track, the pit area and other infield areas. I was quite impressed with the track. You really get the feel of the 30 degree bank of the road in turn 3. I am not sure I could drive on that road. You have to go a minimum of ...

... street tacos and I ordered chile rellenos and a Mexican beer called Montejo. The sign on the counter said it was a new beer and they were offering them for just $1.50. Even if it is bad, you can’t beat the price.

The food was pretty good, although the beans and rice were just so-so. Cheryl especially enjoyed her tacos. The beer was worth about $1.49, so I paid too much, I guess. It was pretty watery and reminded me of ...
